Las Vegas Veteran-to-Veteran Healing Project
VOLUNTEER RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY: The veteran advocate group, Life After Active Duty (LAAD), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in collaboration with the Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP), seeks veterans and active duty military members suffering from PTSD to participate in a study. The study will take place at Veterans Transition Resource Center.
THE BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATING IN THIS STUDY
- You may feel relief from depression, anxiety, fear, anger, flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, and bad dreams.
- You may find that you are able to engage more easily in life and work inside and outside of the military.
- You will learn how to implement a peer support model with other military and veteran members.
- You will leave this training with a set of skills that may help you and others in your community manage stress and trauma symptoms.
